Staff were great. Modern renovation with very good facilities and fast WiFi. Breakfast was early and very good served by friendly staff- Great location plenty of attractive bars and restaurants nearby but not noisy

This place is a little treat after a few days of hiking. There are two sister hotels 3 doors apart,the alburgue and the pension. The pension has the pool and the jacuzzi, the albergue has a lovely chilled garden with seats and sun beds and shade from trees. We stayed in the pension on the camino and got hit by a 37 degree heatwave so stayed here for an extra night. Pool and jacuzzi were lovely, rooms have aircon which is amazing in the heat. Netflix works in the rooms on the tvs so we had a nice day sheltering from the heat. Food is ok here, we had sandwiches, fries and pizza which were all reasonable, I grabbed a load of well priced souvenirs from the albergue to take home for the kids. I will come back to do the camino primitivo one day and when I do I will make sure I can get a room here. Absolute bargain for the price
