Staying at Leju 79 Heritage House was one of the highlights of our trip to Melaka. The house is absolutely stunning—beautifully restored with so much attention to detail. From the charming heritage architecture to the warm, stylish interiors, every corner feels full of character and care. You can tell this place has a story. The location is unbeatable. Nestled in the heart of the historic district, it’s just a short walk to all the major attractions—Jonker Street, Dutch Square, the riverwalk, and so much more. Yet, despite being so central, the house is peaceful and feels like a quiet retreat from the buzz of the city. What truly made our stay special was the incredible hospitality of the host. So kind, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful. We received great local tips, fast help whenever we had a question, and little touches that made us feel completely at home. If you’re visiting Melaka and want an authentic, comfortable, and unforgettable experience, Leju 79 Heritage House is the place to stay. We can’t wait to come back!

A beautiful and charming place in the UNESCO World Heritage zone of Malacca. The place was very nicely preserved while having all the necessary modern facilities needed to be comfortable. In the house there was also a lot of information about Malacca and its history, so we also learned a lot just by reading what was available in the house. The location is excellent, and the hosts very helpful. The two large beds were very comfortable, and the fish bath was very soothing.
