Very good location, clean, fully-equipped kitchen, wonderful view of the ocean, super-friendly hosts (even a bottle of wine on the table for our first dinner + a present at the end of the stay).

Casa Rural Claudio is an exceptional place to stay. The house is full of character and charm and the hosts have been very thoughtful in their attention to detail. The bed was the best I've ever slept in, the bedroom was fab. The kitchen was very well equipped and we felt spoilt with the complimentary wine, fruit and cake. The garden was pretty cool. 'Bird of Paradise' flowers were immediately striking and arrangements of these had also been provided in the house. Every day there was more to discover - Loquat, Camellia, Hibiscus, Tree Aeonium and Hydrangea to name but a few, the garden was a botanical delight. There were so many places outside to sit on the excellent sunbeds. Places that were sheltered when the breeze was a little to cool, places that were in the breeze when the sun was a little too hot and all of them secluded and private. The only noise to disturb you was the sound of the bees. You could view the airport or the stars with the aid of the provided binoculars, a couple of bicycles were provided too that could easily be used to traverse the island. Two sets of walking sticks were also there and we made use of these with the excellent walking that was to be had close to the house. The long distance footpath LP161 is very close by but there is also a myriad of other local footpaths to be enjoyed. Thank you Casa Rural Claudio we shall miss you.

The seaside view was very impressively and the location lies in a calm neighborhood. The way down to the parking places is a little bit steep but no problem for our car. The whole property is full of flowers and fruits. You can see the airport but you don´t hear anything of the airplanes. Villa de Mazo is only 3 km away and you can reach the south of the island, like Los Canarios in nearly 20 minutes. The nearly same distance to st. cruz/airport/ferry. Also the north of the island is like 30-45 minutes away from the guesthouse. The guesthouse is inside like a small "knight´s castle" and the interior decoration is wonderful - a lot of wood and a wonderful kitchen, also the lower floor with the fantastic beds is very nice and has a direct entry/exit to the terrace/parking place. You find everything you need for cooking, discovering stars (telescope), a binocular, of course a tv and the hosts (Carmen and Antonio) are very kindly and friendly! Antonio speaks english - btw :-)
