Amazing price, as I booked for AUD52 per night, and they refund ¥300 if you choose not to have the room cleaned on the second night (they still provide fresh towels). The hotel is right next to the shopping street, which is also 10 min walk away from Matsuyama Castle. I loved the onsen at the property as it has both indoor and open air onsens. There is a rest room where you can use the massage chair for free and in the lobby, you can have unlimited free coffee and soft drinks as well. Very comfortable and super cheap stay consisering capsules in major cities would be the same price, sometimes more.

We stopped for a night on the way into Iya Valley. It was fine, wouldn't want to spend my vacation there but it has everything for a short stop over.

Having hot spring in the hotel is fantastic. Have it before sleep, have it after waking up.
