Great location, quite close to Carsington Water. Trekking paths are within few miles radius. Stepping stones Dovedale is 25 minutes drive. Beautiful property, with plenty of tea, coffee and sugar available. You've got everything that you ask for in a kitchen. There were also bin bags, dishwasher tablets and a pack of shortbread for the guests. Good wifi with signals in almost all the rooms. Claire is an excellent host. She let us extend the time of checkout upon our request. She even offered to post a jumper hoodie, which was left behind by one of the lads.

It was easy to collect the keys but just ensure you call for the key code number before you get to the property as the phone signal isn't great. We had to drive away from the property to until we got a signal and then drove back. This isn't a criticism.

Beautiful village in a lovely part of Derbyshire. Great house - loads of character, great communal space, comfy bedrooms and decent bathrooms.
