Comfortable apartment in the heart of the Sassi. The rooftop terrace was the highlight of our stay. Seeing the Sassi lit up at night is amazing as is watching the place come to life early in the morning. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by. The apartment is ideally located for exploring both the Sassi and the main square in Matera. Really friendly and helpful owners. We enjoyed his stories of his father's work. They have an amazing family owned store with not only gifts and souvenirs, but a fantastic miniature model of the Sassi handmade by his father. We were also given tickets to visit their authentic Cave experience which is a must do.

Fantastic location. The staff were extremely helpful with all our requests. They were constantly in touch with us regarding our arrival (Matera can be difficult). the room was spacious and clean, and the terrace was just spectacular. Highly recommend this place.
