Excellent clean and comfortable room, with coffee provided in the lobby. There is lots of space in both the lobby and outdoors to relax in as well. It is a perfectly reasonable walk and nice from here to central Matera with just a very small section on the main road where you have to cross the bridge over the gorge. Make sure you check out the excellent sculpture park nearby. We walked there from Matera Villa Longo station - There are 2 routes to the main road roundabout, both are nice to walk on - Via San Vito and one just adjacent to it that really goes through the old quarries. taking this 2nd route pretty much car free route and hundreds of really colourful bee-eaters nesting in the old quarry, which is a great sight. Highly recommend staying here - and as I said it is perfectly walkable and also an easy walk straight out to one of the viewpoints overlooking Matera from the other side of the gorge.

there was privacy, quiet and free coffee 24/24. didn't need anything else. it was the perfect place to rest and start daily trips. oh, and i was forgetting the free parking spot right in front

Quiet location close to panoramic views over the canyon towards the Stassi. The room and other facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. The espresso machine was very much appreciated.

Extremely helpful staff, loved that it's a family business and everyone is involved. Location is great for visiting Puglia.
