The view, the location, the breakfast, but most important - the hosts. Absolutely everything was phenomenal and we couldn’t reccomend La Corte Dei Pastori more.

This is unique accommodation in a unique city. Absolutely stunning. The hosts were both extremely friendly and helpful. We had the Panorama room; it was spacious and excellently equipped. And seeing the way it was built into the cave was amazing.

Very large room partly built into the rock. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choice, quiet location but very close to restaurants etc. Fabulous views from our terrace. Kind and helpful hosts.

Exceptional in all ways! The hosts were really lovely! The property is located in a great location, within the rocks. The room was extremely comfortable & clean with stunning views of the Sassi (from the bed!) Lovely breakfast terrace. And Matera itself great! Highly recommended.
