Wonderful stay in Matera within newly renovated caves. The owner is soo nice and even gave us a history tour through out the whole city. We slept really good and within the caves is such a nice cooldown. I would definitely stay here again!

I loved the cave ! It was fantastic . It was very spacious . There were 4 adults . Double bed and two singles. One bathroom . Tea and coffee . Fridge . Great air conditioning. The position is perfect. At the top of the sassi so you can go down into the sassi or onto main area of shops and restaurants

Spacious room, comfortable bed, very clean. Cave-ambiente fits very well into the context of Matera. We and our kids loved every second of our stay. Located directly on top of the Old Town; one can start exploring Matera starting directly from the apartment. Street parking available just 3min away from the apartment. Very friendly and helpful host.
