🇸🇬Highly recommend this B&B if you're looking for an authentic living-in-a cave experience. The B&B is easily reachable from the train/bus station. Given its central location, it is easy to reach all the main tourist attraction. The breakfast offered is also great! Most importantly, the host, Nicola and his dad, are very amicable and endearing. Nicola went all out with his recommendations and offering of help. I felt completely safe and well taken care of.

We liked everything about this property, from the fantastic location in the heart of magical Matera, to the authentically renovated cave bedroom and the delicious homemade breakfast. But above all we loved the host, Nicola. We have never encountered a move attentive, kind and welcoming host. He gave us so many helpful tips that allowed us to enjoy or visit to Matera as much as possible and always went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Do yourself a favour and book a stay here!

Great location and the owner is the nicest person ever. Was so helpful in giving us info on how best to explore the town. He also sent us his favourite restaurants and was available for help at all times

The property is charming and perfectly located—just a short walk from the historic Sassi districts but in a quiet enough area to enjoy a peaceful rest. What I really liked about the property was the attention to detail. The room was clean, spacious, and traditionally decorated, blending modern comforts with the unique character of Matera. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless, toiletries provided. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, local ingredients and a lovely selection to start the day, made from our favourite host NICOLAS. He was incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great suggestions for restaurants and sights, and always available if we had any questions. He made our trip special!!!!
