There was so much to love about this place. It had the feel of a well loved holiday home. It was super quiet. It felt like it was obligatory to wave to EVERY person that walked or cycled past. There was a family of quails that walked around the property every day. The stars were freakin amazing. The beach was right there. The walk to Matarangi was easy. What we thought was a broken clock above the door is actually a high and low tide indicator. The natural infinity pool at the rocks during high tide.
