While the location of this Airbnb was ideal for accessing the Co-op Live venue and local amenities, the overall experience was somewhat marred by a few significant drawbacks. The initial booking process involved a rather excessive and complex series of background checks, including lengthy house rules, a substantial deposit or fee, and identity verification. While understandable to a certain extent, the level of scrutiny felt somewhat overbearing. The check-in process was also unnecessarily complicated, requiring the review of a lengthy document that could have been condensed into a single page. Inside the property, the controlled thermostat was a novel concept, but the effectiveness was questionable. While the "boost" function was intended to heat the entire space, some radiators remained stubbornly cold. Additionally, the double shower in one bathroom seemed unnecessary, especially considering the presence of two bathrooms. The shower design also led to water pooling on the floor. The lack of basic amenities such as shampoo and cleaning supplies was disappointing, forcing guests to purchase their own. The limited towel supply was also inconvenient, particularly for those with longer hair. Despite these shortcomings, the comfortable beds and convenient location were definite positives. However, the constant awareness of a noise monitoring system created an unsettling atmosphere and detracted from the overall relaxation of the stay. Overall, this Airbnb offers a decent location but falls short in terms of hospitality, convenience, and basic amenities. While the strict rules and excessive checks may deter some, others may find the property suitable for a short stay.
