Cash payments/deposits cannot be accepted.Please note, the property may contact you after the reservation is made to provide payment information and instructions for check-in.While Velvet Hotel does it's best to minimize noise disruption, due to it's location in Manchester’s Gay Village, some external noise is unavoidable during busier periods (including Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings). The hotel reception can provide ear plugs on request.Village Brasserie and Velvet Bar are closed on Monday and Tuesday, the hotel reception can assist with alternative food and beverage arrangements.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. We had a lovely stay at the hotel. When we checked in we were told we had been upgraded to a penthouse suite! Lovely surprise and what a treat! Thank you. The hotel was ideally situated for where we wanted to be. We would definitely stay again if ever in Manchester and would highly recommend to friends and family.

What a fantastic hotel the room was gorgeous and the staff were so good as solo female they made me feel so comfortable and got a glass of fizz on arrival this will definitely be my go to hotel for the future

Proximity to train station was great. However a tad noisy during the evening due to location near bars etc.
