All nice, clean, comfortable & warm. Only one things bathroom, bedroom floor & bedroom mirror are not clean. Apart from that an enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Having seen the reviews I was kind of scared about staying here but we were on a budget and this was the cheapest place by a long shot. However, I was pleasantly surprised, I was expecting a horror show and it was nowhere near as bad. It could definitely use a lick of paint and a deeper clean but overall we were quite content with the stay. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and we were provided all white linen which was all clean, although the sheets didn’t smell the freshest (could do with some lenor beads). The property is in a good location, it takes about 25 minutes to get to the centre of Manchester by bus and the buses run super regularly. The bus stops are also within 2 minutes of the property. The person that let us into the property was nice, arrived promptly and very easy to get hold of if we needed anything extra like towels etc. I was also a bit worried about the huge deposit but we got a receipt when we handed the money over and returned to us with no fuss on departure. Our room faced the back of the property so we couldn’t actually hear much noise from the busy road out front for which we were fortunate. There was a bit of an odd energy to the place but for the price you pay we were quite happy and comfortable. We weren’t aware of anyone else staying at the property, and weren’t disturbed by neighbouring rooms. It sounds like the property has recently changed hands and they are actively trying to make improvements and asked for feedback. If you don’t mind a bit of grub and eccentricity then you’d be comfortable here.
