The hotel was located in a new commercial area. It was about 20min away from the city center but in a quiet area. The exterior of the hotel was nice and deco inside simple but welcoming. It looked 3 star but tastefully decorated lobby and had a communal games seating area and book barrow. There was also a small gift shop and ice cream pallor in the lobby which was open during the day. The room itself was big but slightly oddly approriated with the living and bedroom separated by the bathroom. The room was sparcely decorated with basic amenities bed,one side table and open cupboard. There were disposable slippers and an iron with ironing board provided. It was a simple layout with tiled flooring. The AC was wall mounted but the room was quite warm as it faced the seafront. A TV with Internet connection was provided but channels were minimal.The Internet connectivity was poor but could be accessed if you were patient ,20 to 30 minutes to be expected to latch on. The bathroom was basic with free toiletries and shampoo provided. Flooring when wet was slippery,do be careful as only one small floor rug provided.However the shower pressure was good so that's a plus. Next the living area had a small square table with 2 dining chairs . A vanity table and a small fridge. Bottled water a coffee and tea were provided with a kettle for use. Breakfast provided was simple but sufficient, not much choice for RM40 but situated in a large and spacious dining hall facing the sea. Unfortunately construction of another building was ongoing and it blocked the view and was noisy even on the weekend. All in a satisfactory stay for the price. Can't really complain, just stating the facts. Staff were generally very pleasant and friendly so maybe that made up for the rest.
