Perfect location. Despite having very little English, the owner was super nice and friendly, gave us extra towels and bin bags etc throughout the week at no extra cost even though it says there's a charge for towels, always said hello in passing too. Room was good, nothing special but had all we needed including a sink in the room so we didn't have to go all the way to the bathrooms to brush teeth. Showers were good, bathrooms spacious and clean. Would absolutely stay here again!

The hostal is in a great location, just a short walk from Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, and Puerta del Sol. It's close to a metro station and bus stop, so getting around was no problem. There are restaurants and shops nearby, and the area feels very safe. The hostal is in an old building, but it is well taken care of and has a nice, comfortable feel.
