Really central location (2 min walk from Chueca station or 10 min walk to Gran Via) and is well-equipped with a full kitchen, iron and washing machine. Air conditioning was great. Host was very helpful and the autonomous check-in process was very secure.

Great location, clean studio apartment with a small balcony that is roomy enough to sit on and watch the street below. It’s on the first floor and in the middle of a busy area (Chueca) so there are some sounds from the street but it’s isolated well so they didn’t bother me at all. The peppery is extremely well supplied: there’s a working dishwasher, washing machine, vacuum (unfortunately this is the only thing that doesn’t work super well, as it’s a cordless one), kettle, oven, microwave, fridge, stovetop, nespresso coffee machine, airconditioning, a hairdryer (with diffuser), a smart tv that easily connects to YouTube, Netflix, prime etc. It has a stocked bookcase. The shower is roomy and has two shower heads (one normal, one like a rain shower) and shower gel and shampoo are provided. The apartment was clean and tidy and felt cozy and comfortable. It’s a 1 minute walk to the Chueca metro station which is located on a little square with cafes and bars with outside seating. The Chueca area is very safe especially for female solo travelers. From the apartment it’s about a 4 minute walk to the shops and to the grocery store or to the larger market which sells all types of fresh foods. The owner is super friendly and easily contacted by WhatsApp or through the booking website. The cleaning lady was also super friendly and does her job well. The sun hits the balcony around midday, but there is a balcony cover. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get it down as it seems to be a bit broken, but that could’ve just been me. Also it didn’t matter to me a lot. This is a perfect apartment and the price was decent in comparison to other similar places nearby. Definitely recommend!
