The Homestead was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The rooms were fresh and bright, prettily furnished, and we appreciated the lovely thick towels and top quality bed linen provided. We particularly loved the conservatory where we spent relaxing time watching the world go by with our coffee in the mornings or a glass of wine in the evening! Situated on the banks of the River Lim behind the town, it was a 15-20 minute stroll into the centre of Lyme Regis with all it’s friendly pubs, coffee shops and restaurants and a few minutes more to the sea wall and beach. Luckily we were blessed with wonderful weather while we were there, and I would rate this as probably one of the best UK breaks we have ever had. Very highly recommended.

The house is in a fabulous location with a lovely short walk into the centre of Lyme Regis along the river. The house was very well equipped and supplied everything you could need for your stay. It was much bigger than we thought and the conservatory was fantastic for sitting in the evening. If you are going fossil hunting this house with parking is absolutely perfect for your family stay. Sheena was a great host. We drive a large estate car and although a little awkward to get into the parking space, you can do it. I was worried by other reviews but it was absolutely fine.
