Excellent value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff, making you fee welcome and not just a number which was very nice. Food is very good, great menu for dinner and lovely breakfasts all cooked to order so piping hot ! The fresh made pankcakes with fruit and Canadian Maple Syrup were delicious !! Room was comfy, good size with clean bathroom with shower. Toiletries supplied too...a nice touch. Very nice hotel to relax in with a homely feel.

Friendliness of staff, can't do enough to make your stay a pleasurable one. Sam & her husband will welcome you like old friends. Arrived by bike & offered a space in the stables they're converting into undercover bike parking (with locks & cameras) sadly our bike was too wide (Goldwing). Quirky with lovely decor. Large, comfortable room with large bathroom that included a bath. Restaurant & bar. Food in restaurant was lovely & reasonably priced. Fresh fish from the nearby harbour. Perfect stop off if doing NC500.

Upon entering the hotel we were welcomed by the lovely Sam. She immediately made us feel so welcome. We chatted with her and her husband Jeff and found that Jeff had lived in our home town as a young man. They are such a delightful couple and they work so well with each other. They both ensure you are enjoying your stay. We had an evening meal of fish and chips and it was absolutely gorgeous. Best fish we had tasted in a long time. Breakfast was very good - more than ample for our needs. The hotel employs first class catering staff hence the reason the meals are superb. If we are ever in the area again this hotel will certainly be a must for us to stay in. An enjoyable stay enhanced by meeting the owners - Sam and Jeff.
