I would highly recommend Scorpio House Luxor. It has a cozy and homely vibe, offering a peaceful retreat away from the busy East Bank of Luxor. The surroundings are filled with traditional houses, adding to the authentic charm of the place. The host is incredibly kind, welcoming, and humble, making you feel right at home. If you stay here, be sure to try their breakfast and dinners—they are absolutely worth it!

We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend this to everyone. The host Mr. Tayeb took such great care of us as if we were family members. Luxor was our final destination in Egypt and we honestly felt so warm and well taken care of there. The whole place is his his house and seems like a castle on the inside and has a cozy Egyptian atmosphere. He has some animals and a big garden with pool as well. We had breakfast and dinner both days we stayed and it was honestly the only REAL homemade food we had all week. So tasty and clean and authentic. On our first day, he showed us two different rooms and let us pick our favorite and then showed us around the premises, the garden and everything. On our last day he woke up at 06:30 in the morning to make us breakfast and escort us in the taxi. He even offered a small goodbye souvenir which we really appreciated. 10/10 Thank you!

the staff was very responsive and provided services as we asked, including breakfast and when there was an issue with the room they immediately provided an even better alternative
