Ahmed, the host, is a really awesome person, very chill and one of the most honest people we have met in Egypt so far. He could provide us with good tips and likes to talk with his guests. His son is really hard working and keeps everything clean. The yard is really beautiful and feels like an oasis. It’s great to meet likeminded travelers. We would love to come back some day, we really had a wonderful stay at Al Salam Camp!

Great experience! The host was very nice and helpful with all my questions and in solving problems I had. He helped organize tours and give useful advice to navigate the area. The property is in a quiet area of the west bank, is a 5 min walk south from the ferry and close to the nile. If you choose the huts as budget option don't expect much comfort. The rooms on the other hand are very nice and comfortable with Western style bathrooms, very worth the price. The yard has several benches and tables to comune with other guest or just sit alone and relax. Everything is clean. I would for sure come again when I'm in the area Did I mention that the host was very helpful?

Great spot for backpackers / solo travellers. Location is great tbh in West bank. 10 mins walk from ferry dock.

It's nice hostel in calm street, close to the city, but feels like in countryside. The owner was super nice and his breakfast was delicious. There is also possibility to borrow bicycles or book hot air baloon for good price, although we didn't use that possibility. The place has very relaxing vibes. WiFi was ok.
