The bed was the best I have ever slept in; it was like floating on a cloud, loved it. Staff were amazing, I had been booked for an upstairs room, but being my age and find stairs unachievable they were only too happy to give me another ground floor room, and this was after hours. The whole place is bright and clean looking, the cabins look new and lovely. Close to the water with views.

The location is nice - right across Hinchinbrook Island with stunning views! The grounds and gardens are well-kept, and the pool looked inviting (didn't use it as it was too cold). The bungalow was cute, and the layout was perfect for a family of 3. The boat ramp is located right next to the resort, and a couple of fishing spots are also within walking distance. The restaurant, although pricey, has fabulous food and drinks and super-friendly staff! There were lots of families, so great for our son to play with other kids!
