The apartment was exceptional. it had everything you could need, with two beautiful bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen, and a complimentary bottle of cider. The apartment was in a perfect location with amazing views of Luarca.

We enjoyed a 4-night stay at Cesar's apartment in Luarca and we both agreed that it was the best equipped apartment we have ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a few!). There is literally everything you can think of (including the piano!). We used the washing machine and ate in for a couple of nights and had all we needed and everything was pristinely clean. Cesar also left some supplies which were very much appreciated as unfortunately I was suffering from a stomach bug when I arrived and we were not able to go shopping before hand. Cesar met us outside and guided us to where to park (2 spaces available in the underground car park and more outside). It was just the two of us so the apartment was very spacious. The beds were comfortable, the showers very good and the wifi fast. There are some very thoughtful touches in the apartment as well. However It is the amazing view that will stay with us - thank you Cesar. Don't bother looking any further, just book a stay here!

You really feel like you’re staying in someone’s home, there are so many personal touches everywhere, which makes it really special. Cesar, our host, kindly met us early and showed us everything; and he’d really thought of everything, even down to providing bottles of water, bread, milk and coffee. The apartment is very spacious, exceptionally well equipped, super comfy, spotlessly clean and contains everything you could possibly need, even for a long stay. The uninterrupted views are superb, down to the harbour and right across the bay. The parking is brilliant, a secure underground facility immediately below the apartment, the lift comes right up in the front on the flat. The nearest tapas bar is only 100yds away and is also excellent, lovely food and excellent value. It’s a bit of a stroll up from the harbour if you go down there for a meal, but worth it; Luarca has some very good restaurants. We’re in our 70’s and it wasn’t a struggle, just a bit of effort needed. We’re on a road trip through Cantabria and Asturias and Luarcaplaya is without doubt the best property, together with the best host, that we’ve booked; and by a long way.

Great host who waited for us to arrive in order to guide us to the on-site underground car park. The apartment is high up looking out across Luarca which means a climb when walking back from the village but the location is well worth it for the views across the harbour, especially at sunset.
