I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. Staff were excellent (reception, restaurant, cleaning). My room was quiet and I loved the almost blackout curtains which made the room properly dark for sleeping. Also loved what I consider the more generous touches compared to other similarly priced hotels I stayed in. These were ground coffee and a coffee plunger/french press, not little Nescafé sachets. Also the green tea leaves and teapot. Small sweet treats with the turn down service at the end of the day. Breakfast was varied enough and again, my coffee came in a good sized mug, not a dinky little cup. The fitness center was better than I expected though I think some of it needed a good application of WD40/RP7. Location was good, walkable to the town sites but the hotel car was as added bonus to drop me off places and/or pick me once I was done. Restaurant food was good for when I couldn’t be bothered going out again. I stayed 6 days.

The photos don’t do this place justice. This place was absolutely incredible. The furnishings are beautiful and the vibe is very peaceful. We appreciated the early check in. The staff went above and beyond, bringing cold towelettes to the pool side, complementary ice teas and daily room refreshing. Each day in the late afternoon/ early evening they bought complimentary sweet treats to the room. The shower was brand new, the shampoo/conditioner/body wash all smelt amazing. The greenery around the whole place was lovely. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning and the gym was clean and larger than the photos. There were bicycles free to use to get around which made getting around easy. We were happy to walk to centre of town (about 15 mins) but they also had van free transfers which we were very grateful for. We will be telling all our family and friends about this place and we will be returning if we are ever lucky enough to come back to luang prabang.

Staff were outstanding, looked after my Coeliac partner so he ate very well. Beautiful room, pool and shared areas. Free shuttle service to and from centre of town. Very peaceful. Upgrade to a huge room.
