We were greeted at The Ship by Emma who's customer service was excellent she couldn't do enough for us. The room had just been refurbished which was lovely, very clean & well laid out. Huge TV which was great whilst watching in bed, very comfortable matress which gave a good nights sleep. We were at a table tennis tournament at Carlton Le Willows School in Gedling so very convenient as it's only a few miles from venue, we will definitely use The Ship again if we enter an event & can get a competative rate. We ate in the restaurant but only shared a sharing board as we had eaten earlier in the day, the waiter (sorry I forget your name) was also extremely friendly and efficient, the next evening we had a drink in the bar which was comfortable and cosy.

Beautifully renovated pub with a warm welcome from the landlord and landlady. Great staff. Excellent food, huge variety of premium drinks on draught. Lovely front terrace to enjoy a pint in the sunshine. Rooms are spacious, clean and good value for money. They have everything you need and the bed is comfy!
