The location is absolutely stunning. The villa is very private, which is exactly what we wanted, but it’s still only 15mins from Lovina when you want to rejoin civilisation. Everything about the villa itself is beautiful - the pool, bed and the outdoor bathroom were highlights - and there was no shortage of comfortable seating outside. However, the highlight for us was the staff. Sandy (manager), Mary (chef) and Iluh (housekeeper) were the reason we enjoyed our stay so much, and the countless other reviews singing their praises were a major reason for our choosing Villa Saraswati. We had a lovely time lounging by the pool but also discovering Lovina and the surroundings thanks to Sandy, who taught us so much about Balinese culture and traditions (and has a lovely warung!). Mary cooked us some amazing meals and she was so warm and welcoming, we really enjoyed talking to her about Bali and what it was like living there, she was amazing! And she even bought us some curry paste to take home with us. Iluh cleaned the villa beautifully, was very respectful of our space, made the bed for us every day, and was always on hand to help. They are all so kind, welcoming and hard-working, and we feel very lucky to have met them. We’ll really treasure our time in Lovina and really can’t wait to be back 🙂

We’ve really enjoyed our stay at Villa Saraswati. The place is very beautiful. We were travelling with friends (4 people). There are 2 separate double bed rooms with bathroom. The rooms have a stunning view. We arranged the transport to and from this location via the Villa. The driver, Katut Sandy, is very friendly and helpful. His wife Mary made breakfast and lunch for us. We really enjoyed her cooking skills! I would definitely recommend this Villa!

The villa is wonderful with two very nice rooms and a wide private panoramic swimming pool. It is a balcony on the green valley below, blooming of nature. The sea at distance offers fantastic views. The service is accurate and a wonderful surprise is a lovely lady preparing on request very good food for both breakfast and main meals. The manager was very helpful in organizing the dolphin boat trip the day after we arrived. Swimming with dolphins was amazing.
