Bathroom light had a switch that said it was not working, so we were relying on the heat light for light in the bathroom, however this would turn off after 5 mins and then wouldn’t work for an hour. I had to shower and do make up in a very dark bathroom. Ocean views were not what what we would call ocean view as the entire view from room 3 was blocked by very very tall and big trees. We would have definitely stayed elsewhere as we specifically wanted an ocean view.

The location was ideal, close to the beach, walking tracks, the Main Street for shopping and cafes. The Lorne Hotel’s restaurant was the best meal we have had in a long time. I’ll be thinking about the curry for time to come. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful building, Tiffany upgraded us to a view room which was amazing. Great bar for a drink on a rainy afternoon. Beautiful meal, close to shops etc

This gorgeous old building has been stylishly renovated and the staff were fabulous. Incredible view too, I could have sat by the window all day.
