Wonderful hosts. Everything you can think of was provided. After watching a glorious sunset from the tent balcony we spent a lovely evening sitting round our fireplace and looking at the stars. Highly recommend this place.

I spent 4 nights by myself here and it was the perfect spot to fire up the BBQ, pour a glass of wine and unwind after a day of doing the tourist thing. The tents were as clean and comfortable as any 5 star hotel room and it was lovely to arrive to find a breakfast basket full of goodies and the fire pit all set up and ready to light (complete with marshmallows). The port and chocolate was also a really nice touch. Tanya and David were really lovely and hospitable and nothing was a bother. I didn’t use the pool but it looked really inviting and would be a great place to cool off on a hot day. Longreach is a long trek from “civilisation” but it’s definitely worth a visit. The vast landscape is stunning, the sunsets are beautiful and there’s heaps to do across Longreach/Winton and surrounds and everyone is really friendly. It’s great to see a little outback town revitalise itself through tourism.

Clean and comfy rooms! They provided more than what other hotels would give you and we loved the local touches they added; locally made soaps, Australian made shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash etc.
