We stayed here because of the high scores…. The other places in this tiny town must be really dire. Having said that, nothing was really wrong with this place. We actually quite enjoyed it. but it is not flash. At all

We like this motel and have stayed a few times. The owner is friendly and accommodating (I booked the wrong room but she sorted it out for me). We like the annexe out the back. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Microwave and fridge. Table with 2 chairs. Bath with working plug - always a bonus! Easy drive up to Whitney Portal. Centrally positioned in the town.

Good value considering the alternative accommodation locally. Excellent helpful and friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Everything provided and generally very clean and tidy.

Small but fully equipped room with fridge, microwave, coffeemaker. Although located on the mainroad , it was quiet at night.
