The hotel has been beautifully renovated. Even though my room had no windows (but two large skylights!), I found it quite comfortable, well designed to maximize use of space. The breakfast was delicious (one of the best I've had in UK hotels of a similar class). The back garden was a lovely space to spend a couple of quiet hours in the morning.

Quirky room with bed up some very narrow stairs. Large window opened onto a flat roof so ventilation good, but did have a little traffic noise because of it.
