Staff absolutely amazing,kind,friendly always asked if we needed a hand. Location is absolutely perfect. Rooms are great size for a party of 5. Food is absolutely beautiful. Food is reasonably priced and cooked to order.

We went to the Alex on a whim. It was a 4 night stay away to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. All of the Alex Staff were amazing! Loads of good shops around. Lovely Pier and nice clean promenade. Food at the hotel was very good indeed. Sundays are a bit quiet but lovely place. We will return!

I like old Victorian style properties, they have character. Clean single room with a double bed which was very comfortable.

Great location, near seafront, shops, bus routes and railway station. Large clean bedroom with comfortable bed, breakfast was OK and good value. We enjoyed our stay and would use the hotel again.
