I LOVED this place. Words can't fully express how helpful, kind, and informative the staff were at We Love F**ing Tourists*. I was traveling alone with limited time and no idea what to do in the city. Finding the entrance to the hostel is tricky, once you do, it's the only location you recognise. It was 40°C, I had two HEAVY bags, and four flights of stairs ahead. The first thing I heard through the intercom was, “Do you need help with your bags?” Like any rational person I said no, yet Julie still met me halfway, grabbed my bags, welcomed me to Lisbon and she still beat me to the top of the staircase! Julie, the hostel manager, was READY. She offered me iced tea, walked me through check-in, shared Lisbon’s history, and pitched the hostel’s activities so smoothly I signed up for everything - which ended up being the right choice! I joined the Fado Night, the Sintra Tour, and the Bar Crawl. No rest, but no regrets. At least I can truly say I experienced Lisbon. My favourite was the Bar Crawl. Most of the hostel joined, and Francisco made navigating Lisbon’s lively nightlife super fun. The Fado Night gave me a beautiful glimpse into the Portuguese culture - hard to explain, but unforgettable. The Sintra Tour was a full-day adventure: walking, sightseeing, and chatting with Santos, our guide, who made us feel like friends on a road trip. He explained everything in detail and brought great energy to the group. The highlight of my stay was the hostel staff! Mary was the BEST - so bubbly and joyful. She clocked my ADHD within seconds of us talking, which made it even easier to bond with everyone. Li was incredibly kind and patient, answering all my questions (even the repeated ones) with a smile. Julie has an amazing team. I’ll definitely be back and can’t recommend this place enough. Don’t miss this experience!

The staff at this hostel are so friendly and welcoming. Helped with all my queries. Also the cafe next door is great. Location was exactly where I wanted with lost of shopping, food and public transport.
