Very nice apartment, very clean and nice size. Two bathrooms are vey handy, but one shower had problems. Kitchen sufficient to cook meals with everything available.

The property is clean, modern, in good quality, well equipped and nicely furnished with small balconies also furnished with 2 chairs and a small table. The bedrooms are roomy and nicely furnished with 2 bathrooms, each with a shower, one of them is an en suite bathroom to the master bedroom. Also a good length which my tall husband appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped although we did not cook while there. It had an Nespresso machine and a small supply of capsules. Each room had a flat screen TV and air con unit which we did not need to use in October. Checking in and out was easy, the hosts were easy to reach and very responsive. It matched the photographs and floor plan. We were also pleased with the neighborhood, it was on a quiet street just off the busy streets and bars, not too hilly; a block away from the Bica elevador, the tram 28 route and close to the bar and cafe district. There are no bars or cafes on this street so it was relatively quiet; occasionally late at night some partying could be heard from the next street but was mostly unobtrusive even when the windows were open, and not audible when the windows were closed. Did not hear any neighbours, it’s well sound proofed. It’s close to a few mini markets and kiosks, endless bars and restaurants ( o barrigas our favourite just 5 mins away). It’s on the 2nd floor in Bairro Alto and there is an elevator.
