The hotel is a cool and quiet oasis away from the busy streets of Lisbon. It was immaculately clean with comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast. The afternoon tea cakes were a treat to come back to after a busy day. The staff were very helpful with travel advice and made sure our stay was perfect.

The hosts are very helpful with many suggestions for places to vist and local eating spots. Located in one of the older neigbourhoods the hotel is a tradional Portugues house and is pretty central with access to trams, metro and buses. Breakfast included freshly made continetal breakfast, cereals. freshly squeezed juice, tea, ground coffee and home made cakes / tarts and a selection of breads. All in a cosy, leafy garden / enclosed patio area. Bearing in mind the house is over 200 years old our room included a comfy bed, solid air conditioning, flat screen TV, interent access, seperate bathroom, and an enclosed terrace overlooking the garden.
