Excellent location for a solo traveller and couples as well. The place is located in the heart of Alfama and it's ideal as it comes handy with few spots where to eat and buy primary goods if you need them just one step out of the door.

Wow. Fantastic. The width of the room is 245 cm, the height of the door is 170 cm, the width of the bathroom is 86 cm. noise at night. Especially on weekend nights, it's worse. If you don't look up when you poop, your head hits the door. The bed shakes and makes a loud creaking sound. It was raining when I arrived. Opening the door with the key was very difficult and took a long time. My wife and I have been out in the rain for a long time. I called the host but the answering machine answered in Portuguese. The door to the room was also not easy to open. As soon as you open the door, it is a staircase, so if you are not careful, you will fall down. I strongly recommend not to get drunk. The bathroom is very small and there is no ventilation fan. It gets hot if you run it for a long time for ventilation. Even if there is no ventilation, use it only for a short time. If you open a small window, you can say hello while looking at the wrinkles on the forehead of the person across from you. If you go out, it is strongly recommended that you poop enough there and go home. The width of the shower room is 65cm! You become the main character of Gulliver's Travels. The shower door does not close completely. It only closes about 2/3 of the way. Therefore, when you shower, you must squat down. Otherwise, the water will run out of the shower.
