Having decided to spend a couple of days in the Dales we booked two nights at Home from Home. We had no problems finding the house as we’d been sent very detailed directions. We were very warmly welcomed by Sarah and shown to our room which was extremely clean and cosy with a very comfortable bed. Tea, coffee, water, biscuits and sweets were provided and there was also a small fridge. The healthy and delicious breakfast was plentiful and set us up for the day. We’d planned to walk to Grassington and Burnsall, however, Sarah recommended a lovely route over the tops to Burnsall (via Thorpe) and back to Grassington along the river. The property is in a great location in a beautiful part of The Dales and Sarah and Ian were the perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived to the time we left we really did feel that we were ‘Home from Home’. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to make a return visit ourselves in the future.

The hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They trusted us in their beautiful property. The breakfast was lovely, fresh and the rhubarb and yoghurt was a delight!
