This villa is high up in the village and commands stunning views of the village and the sea. Large patio with ample seating and space for dining. Totally private. The villa is an old Captains House so has the amazing main room with Archway and raised Lindian platform bed. Large dining kitchen with all appliances and two further bedrooms. Domna, the host is absolutely charming and nothing is to much trouble. The villa was cleaned every day to a high standard.

The villa was an old sea captain's villa with amazing views of the Acropolis and over the whole of Lindos. The traditional architecture was gorgeous, especially in the master bedroom and the large pebbled courtyard with a large and very old vine which provided much needed shade from the midday sun. The 3 bedrooms were large and very comfortable and the two bathrooms were also very nice, clean and the water was always hot. The master bedroom and the pine cladded bedroom share one of the bathrooms which is accessed from the corridor off from the kitchen whilst the other bathroom is an ensuite with the third bedroom. The owners were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Stella was lovely and met us at the Atmosphere Bar upon arrival to transport our cases by car to the villa as the access is very hilly and narrow which is characteristic of Lindos. She also very kindly brought our cases to meet our taxi upon our departure day so that we had time to have a stress free meal which was an absolute godsend as we were running a little late 😘 The WiFi was excellent throughout the villa and the kitchen facilities were very good and spacious for self catering and the centre of Lindos is literally a 5 minute walk away although be prepared for lots of steps . Megali Paralia is the main beach in Lindos. Its name means big beach and it is in fact the largest beach in Lindos and, in my opinion, the best beach on Rhodes is about 10 minutes away. The villa was cleaned every day and fresh towels and bedding provided and the Greek lady doing the cleaning was absolutely lovely and even googled a message in English for our children as she only speaks Greek ❤️. We loved our time in the lovely villa and fell in love with the local people who were all so kind and friendly and also the local cats, especially the 2 grey tabbies who may visit the veranda from time to time but who are very respectful.

The character of the property being an historic Sea Captains house with its delightful open courtyard to the sea & stunning Acropolis, especially at night! The pebble floors, raised platform bed & timbered ceiling were in the tradition of a Lindian House together with the gorgeous bougainvillea hanging over. A very special place!
