Very friendly and helpful host and the Pod was clean, smart and well equipped for a couple of nights away. Setting with Pods arranged around the lake and large trees shielding the road was absolutely lovely and best of all the group of ducks occasionally gliding past ! Nature reserve virtually next door is worth a visit and after advice from the host we cut through it to the riverbank as a great route to the pleasant local pub in Fiskerton - turn right when you reach the bridge. After the pub detour we headed over the bridge for a 5 mile walk into Lincoln alongside the river Witham. Midweek taxi fare back was a reasonable £14 (Sept. 2024). Didn't expect to be walking to Lincoln when we booked , so just sums up the great location !
