I arrived late and left early as I had little time to stay. I took a walk and there's nice architecture to see in the area between station and hotel. Staff was very kind and accessible, same about the staff of a fast food and grocery store nearby that were open at night, they helped me find the hotel when my mobile died, despite my very basic French skills. Simple accomodation, that was just what I needed

The room was clean and quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The owners were pleasant and friendly. There was a good bus service into the centre of the city but on foot it was a good 20-25 minute walk to the centre so l’Aiglon is not exactly centrally situated. However, it is a one star hotel and therefore simple and basic and that needs to be borne in mind in relation to this review.

A run-down hotel which nevertheless has all the necessary facilities: clean rooms, comfortable beds, sound isolation, private bathroom, reasonable breakfast and, last but not least, very nice staff. And it's cheap. You get exactly what you can expect, with no frills but no disappointments, either. Good value for money, all in all.
