Location: 10/10 The apartment is perfectly situated in the heart of Lille, with everything you could possibly need within a 10-minute walk. From countless bakeries and cafés to lively happy hour bars, restaurants, and an impressive variety of food options — you're truly spoiled for choice. The central location is undeniably one of the apartment’s biggest advantages, making it an ideal base for exploring the city on foot. The space itself is bright, spacious, and ideal for a couple. It's located on the ground floor, through a secure entrance and tucked away at the back of the building, which makes it feel private, calm, and incredibly quiet — no noise from neighbours, just the occasional cooing of some very enthusiastic pigeons! The bed is extremely comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of utensils and a large fridge. Toiletries are provided (a thoughtful touch), and even a hair straightener was included. There’s also a well-organised folder filled with local recommendations handpicked by the host, covering places to eat, drink, and visit. Overall, the apartment itself is clearly well looked after and prepared for guests.

It was in an excellent location in the old town. The apartment had a modern refurbishment and had surprising extra touches such as a projector instead of a TV.

Fabulous location for a cosy and well-appointed apartment. Conveniently located on the ground floor with very clear instructions sent beforehand to ensure an easy check-in. The apartment is tiny but there’s an oven, hob and fridge freezer in the kitchenette with enough equipment to cook a full meal. Even a washing machine in the bathroom where there’s a large rain shower cubicle. Don’t expect any kind of view - all windows look out into brick walls - but that might be one of the reasons the apartment is so quiet. Public parking is just a four minute flat walk away through what felt like a very safe area. Sophie kindly allowed us to check-in a little early, which was appreciated after a long drive. We stayed only one night but the apartment is comfortable enough for a longer stay and could not have been better located for sightseeing, bars and restaurants. We’d certainly stay again.
