Sandra “Newly refurbished apartment in a good neighbourhood close to Liège Guillemins station”

The flat is newly refurbished and beautifully decorated. It is spacious, clean, and has lots of light. It overlooks the parking lot and a park. The location is very good - close to Liège Guillemins station, Avroy, and the centre - in one of the best neighbourhoods in Liège. It has a small fridge, kettle, coffee machine (coffee provided), microwave, plates, cuttlery, and glasses. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Also the towels are top quality. Lots of storage space in the bedroom. I didn't find a hairdryer. Very effective communication with the owner. Access to the flat is secured via keyfob. There is a lift. Secure and enclosed parking at the back of the building. There are two big supermarkets (Carrefour) and a laundrette within 5 - 10 minutes' walk. I would have rated the flat 10/10 where it not that its design is somewhat impractical for longer stays (I stayed 6 nights). It has a narrow spiral staircase to go down to the bedroom and bathroom. The toilet is upstairs. Because of the tricky staircase, I left my large suitcase upstairs. Also, the shower only provides a miserable spray, so I ended up using the tap in the bath to wash. The handshower in the bath has not enough pressure to be useful. To clean the dishes, one needs to go down the spiral staircase to use the sink in the bathroom; there is no sink upstairs, other than a little hand sink in the toilet. There is a restaurant right below the flat, and it's playing loud (club) music every day and evening until midnight or later on Saturday. No music on Sundays and Tuesdays, when the restaurant is closed. Overall, it's a very good flat if you don't mind the minuses.
