Nice hotel. Happy to recommend. Old style hotel in great location in high street of Lewes. No private parking but easy to park in public carparks not far away. Very short walk to Lewes castle. Good and busy restaurant for evening meals and breakfast. Busy bar. Room was small and traditionally furnished but had all of the necessities.

The breakfast was well presented and tasty. The dining room was very pleasant and airy. I had an evening meal which was very nice with multiple choices available. The staff were all very pleasant.

Room was fine and comfortable. |Location excellent for a visit to Glyndebourne. I think in your publicity the location should be described as 'enviable' rather than 'envious' ! Decent breakfast.
