The room was a good size and had all we needed. Great to have a bath after walking the South Downs Way. Breakfast was as described - continental only but good with some fruit.

Good location, central to Lewes. Nice old pub with lots of atmosphere and nice staff. Clean room with everything necessary. Only 20 mins from Newhaven ferry.

We liked everything about The Dorset. It was a shame we didn't get to stay for breakfast as we thought we may miss the Ferry. We had a lovely meal at night. The staff were really good.

The location was easy to find with the help of a satnav, with a public car park opposite their back entrance, within easy walking distance of the old town and shops, restaurants etc. The best thing was that the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a room above a pub, so no frills accommodation, but clean, comfy bed, good en suite with fluffy towels and mini shampoo provided. We arrived early and they let us leave our stuff and then check in an hour before official check in time.
