Super location. the view from the house location is second to none. It is also possible to walk to Letterfrack Village from the house. It is just over 3km and therefore very manageable if you are used to walking. The house is a new build with all mod cons and underfloor heating, therefore it is very comfortable and warm. We also were given some Oysters to taste as this property is part of the Oyster farm - that was a nice touch. You won't taste fresher Oysters!

This home is beautifully located, fully equipped and very comfortable. We were in awe of the scenery even on the drive to the cottage, let alone once we arrived and saw the view we would be having for our week’s stay. The location of the Cottage itself is incredibly peaceful, and full of wildlife (on our first day alone, we saw a hare, seal and heron). Our host, David, was very friendly and helpful. He provided us with a quick and informative tour of the Cottage including how to use the appliances. Much to our delight, we were even left a box of complementary fresh oysters! They were very tasty and we enjoyed eating these with a glass of wine, enjoying the view. David also very kindly suggested local attractions to visit and pubs in the nearby village, which were lovely. In particular, a walk up diamond hill was spectacular. My partner and I had an overall wonderful stay in Connemara (with hundreds of photos to prove it), and would highly recommend to anyone – we will be back!
