Pavel “Rather small, practically equipped appartment in a historical house in the hearth of Lerici”

The appartment is as described here - rather small (25 m2) but very practically equipped with up to three foldable beds (2+1+1), a table, kitchen unit, cupboard, bathroom with a shower corner and WC. It is located in an historical, typically Italian house on the third floor, with narrow and tall stairs. We were two adults with two childred (7 and 9 years) for 5 nights here and cannot say that the apt was too small for us (but 3 adults would be a maximum). The apt is situated on the perfect position just in the hearth of Lerici (one of the windows leads to Piazza Garibaldi), very close to the bus stop (all directions), port (boats to Cinque Terre and Golfo dei Poeti), restaurants and shops. The closest beach with a free, public part (Venere Azzurra) is about 7 min by walk via promenade, other public beaches are in San Terenzo or Tellaro accessible by walk or (free) bus. Denise, the host, is very nice, helpful and open. Denise contacted me via cell phone and WhatsApp on the lunch time of the day of arrival to arrange when and where to meet. We communicated mostly via WhatsApp in English, Denise wrote mostly in Italian with subsequent translation of her messages to English - this worked well although we do not speak Italian. In a high season (15.6.-31.8.), the centre of Lerici is "zona traffico limitato (ZTL)" and arrival/departure of the non-residents' cars is only allowed between 19:00-01:00 and between 05:00-10:00. However, there is really no space to stop the car in the centre and unload/load the luggage. If travelling by car, it is necessary to park the car on one of the paid parkings in Lerici (e.g. LaVallata, 10 EUR/day, 50 EUR/week) and then take a small free bus (or taxi) to Piazza Garibaldi (Linea Blue or Verde, every 30 min each between 8:30-01:00; only buses on Linea Verde have a space for luggage). So it is necessary to be prepared for this before packing all the stuff for the trip.
