All good except bar staff serving us their most expensive brandy without giving us a choice or telling us the price. Should we have asked? Yes but we were enjoying a lovely evening with friends.

The continental breakfast was excellent with fresh croissants, breads and a good selection of fruit, cereal, yoghurts etc. The coffee machine worked well offering a good range of brews. Comfortable, clean and quiet room with good bath and shower. Food and service in the restaurant was exceptionally good. Tasty and succulent dishes.

Lodge room was spacious with a private garden. Very comfortable bed. Dinner in the restaurant excellent.
