The location of the apartments! Under huge olive trees! The cicadas were singing all day long! Beautiful view to the port of Lakka from the porch!

We arrived at the Gaios ferry terminal, where a prearranged taxi picked us up, thanks to our host. It is a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the apartment in Lakka. Our host was there to welcome us and show us around. She was very kind and supportive during our stay. The apartment (number 1) consists of a bedroom, bathroom, living room with open kitchen, and an own terrace. The apartment itself is a bit "rustic", with some limitations here and there, for example the small shower and toilet are squeezed into a corner. which can be challenging for "big" people. So don't expect modern luxury, comfort and perfection. However, everything is clean, we had everything we needed and felt comfortable. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped and we were able to cook 6-7 times during our 2- week stay. There is a lovely garden with a (small) pool and outdoor shower, which, given the heat-wave, we actually did use quite a bit, mostly alone. The village of Lakka is about a 5 minute walk downhill, so, going back, it is a short climb uphill, which can be challenging in the heat. We often took the path to Plani beach, about a 10-15 walk (1 km) mostly downhill, so again, coming back uphill in the heat is challenging. The WiFi wasn't always working properly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you!

The place is great value for money. Its clean, has everything you need. Location wise there are some steps you have to climb on the way back from Lakka. But in return you get great view, calmness and silence.
