However, Lake Tekapo is surrounded by Alpine mountains which will be extremely cold depending on the weather. We suggest you bring more layers when you are planning to visit Tekapo from April to October.Kindly noted that we are not able to cancel the booking due to natural disasters or road closures.Please note that there is a penalty will be imposed if our team find/smell the guest smoking/vaping inside the property. Smoking/vaping is strictly not allowed in all of our properties.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Everything! The staff were so helpful and nice. The bedrooms were lovely, the heat pump was great so we were never cold, they had everything we could possibly need for our 3 nights- most of which we cooked meals. The price is great for what it is. Great view as well! We could see all the mountains, sunsets and sunrises. Highly recommend!

We were upgraded for free to a 2 bdrm upstairs apartment in Lake Tekapo Village Motel. Everything you need in a home and more. Great location facing the lake. Restaurants, shops and Foursquare all walking distance. Staff were all fantastic. Nothing is wrong here. Really appreciate the kind thoughts.
