It is a lovely experience to stay in Clearview -Lake Tekapo. It is quiet. The view from our bedroom and living room in our bed or sofa is like a painting or a picture- so so beautiful. We can find the peace in such a quiet environment. It is good for those self driving people. Not worries for backpackers, the front desk staff is fantastic and helpful. They help to fetch our big luggages from the office to the accommodation. When checking out, they help us again to send us to the intercity bus.

The house was in a quiet residential area, very comfortable and very well equipped, with lovely views from the 1st floor balcony across to the lake and mountains beyond. Only 5 mins drive to the shops/cafes or a 20 min walk. We spent 4 nights here and would thoroughly recommend.
