First time in a Hi hostel and was impressed with the setup. Not cheap but cheaper than the other nearby accommodation. We had a double room with shared bathroom. Let you have bearspray for free.

The licensed restaurant on site and the way the deck overlooks gardens where squirrels play. Also a short walk to the supermarket and the public bus to Lake Louise stops right out the front. The staff were friendly especially on reception and restaurant.

Location in the mountain, making hiking so easy. Scenes of snowcapped mountains and the running Bow River . Cool n clean mountain air. Very warm staff at the front desk, in the restaurant.
